Introduction to ROS

The ROS (Robot Operating System) Workshop was designed to introduce students to the Robot Operating System (ROS) and its applications in robotics. This two-day workshop covered the fundamentals of ROS, including hands-on sessions to build basic robotics applications. Participant learned key concepts and gained practical experience in working with ROS tools such as Gazebo and Rviz.

The ROS Workshop provided students with a strong foundation in robotics development using the Robot Operating System. It offered a blend of theory and hands-on experience, preparing participants to tackle real-world robotics challenges. The collaboration with RAS IEEE TKMCE provided an enriching learning environment with expert guidance from Prof. Shyba S. This workshop served as an excellent introduction to ROS, setting the stage for students to explore more advanced robotic projects in the future.
