IEEE Day 2025

Event Description:

IEEE Day 2025 will be celebrated on October 16, 2025, at Salim Habib University, Karachi to highlight the power of innovation, collaboration, and technology while connecting it with the theme of “Youth, Technology & SDGs.” This event aims to engage students in meaningful discussions, creative activities, and interactive sessions that embody the true spirit of IEEE.

The day will begin with a welcome address and an insightful guest talk. Participants will then enjoy a range of exciting activities, including:

• Recycling/Upcycling Challenge: Teams will design creative items from recyclable materials and pitch their ideas.
• SDG Trivia Quiz: A fun and competitive quiz on SDGs, IEEE, and technology.
• Networking Bingo: A lighthearted way for students to connect and interact.
• Green Pledge Wall & E-Waste Collection: Attendees will make personal pledges for sustainability while also contributing to e-waste collection drives.
• Fun Activity Session: Enjoy interactive games, including meme battles and cup stacking, to wrap up the celebration.
• Special moments will include the IEEE Day cake-cutting ceremony, group photos, and networking opportunities with peers and faculty. The event will conclude with acknowledgments, a feedback session, and closing remarks.
• Throughout the event, an E-Waste Collection Booth and a Palestine Fund Contribution Box will remain open for voluntary participation.

This celebration provides students with an excellent opportunity to not only learn about IEEE and its role in shaping the future of technology but also to connect with like-minded peers, contribute to social impact initiatives, and enjoy an inspiring day of collaboration.
