IEEE Day 2025: A Celebration of Innovation and Collaboration
IEEE Student Branch IIT Indore is excited to invite you to join us for the upcoming IEEE Day celebrations on October 8, 2025 a day dedicated to celebrating the accomplishments and contributions of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE) community. IEEE Day celebrates the first time in history when engineers worldwide gathered to share their technical ideas in 1884.
IEEE SB IIT Indore, was established in 2019 and currently, we are proud to have 10 vibrant chapters within our Student branch, each dedicated to a specific field of interest and expertise. You can explore these chapters and their activities on our website (https://edu.ieee.org/in-iiti/
We have lined up an engaging and informative program that includes
- IEEE Introduction talk by Prof. M Tanveer, IIT Indore
- A tech talk by Senior IEEE Faculty member Dr. Saptarshi Ghosh, IIT Indore
- Expert talk on Atmospheric Lightning : An Emerging Disaster Over India by Dr.Alok Taori ( Scientist-G, NRSC, ISRO)
- Presentations by IEEE Society representative on membership benefits
- Project Presentation by IIT Indore students (UG,PG and PhD)
- Felicitation of IEEE achievers and students
- Network and Membership drive
