IEEE DAY 2025 – Reverzion
Reverzion is a dynamic technical event that challenges participants to think like inventors, innovators, and engineers of tomorrow. The competition immerses students in the process of reverse engineering, encouraging them to decode how futuristic systems function based solely on observation and reasoning.
Teams are presented with unique working demos — from self-driving bots and AR filters to smart web applications and coded locks — without any access to the underlying code or design. Their mission is to analyze, interpret, and explain the hidden mechanisms, algorithms, or sensors driving the demo.
To push creativity even further, teams must also envision how they would enhance or future-proof the given system, proposing upgrades that reflect originality and forward thinking.
Reverzion stands as a test of analytical thinking, problem-solving, and innovation — inspiring participants to not just understand technology, but to reimagine the future behind it.
