Igniting Innovation: IEEE Day at UIET

UIET came alive with incredible energy as students from every department gathered to celebrate IEEE Day. Rooted in the core mission of “Advancing Technology for Humanity,” the event was a powerful mix of inspiration, tech, and collaboration. It wasn’t just a celebration—it was an eye-opening experience that connected students to the global IEEE vision and highlighted how they can help shape tomorrow’s tech landscape.

S   Speaker Session:

Prof. Y. P. Verma delivered an inspiring talk on “Advancing Technology for Humanity.” He spoke about the evolving landscape of technology, the importance of ethical innovation, and how students can become changemakers by engaging with IEEE activities. He also shed light on the IEEE Student Branch at UIET, emphasizing how it empowers students to learn, lead, and grow beyond the classroom. His words left the audience motivated and eager to participate more actively in the IEEE community.

2.      Celebration and Interaction:

After the session, everyone joined in for a joyful cake-cutting ceremony to mark the occasion. The celebration continued with an interactive quiz that tested participants’ knowledge of existing and emerging technologies, as well as fun facts about IEEE. The atmosphere was lively as students participated with great enthusiasm, and three winners emerged for their outstanding performance.
