IEEE Day – EMBS Participation
On IEEE Day, the IEEE NTUA Student Branch – Engineering in Medicine and Biology Society (EMBS) Chapter actively participated in the celebration, showcasing our diverse activities and subteams to the wider student community. During the event, we delivered a comprehensive presentation highlighting our recent and upcoming events, including workshops, seminars, and collaborative projects. We provided updates on our ongoing research initiatives, showcasing the practical application of biomedical engineering principles, and shared exciting future ideas and visions for the chapter. This presentation served as a platform to answer questions from attendees, providing insights into the benefits of joining our chapter and engaging with the IEEE network.
Following the formal presentations, we engaged in open conversations with students who expressed interest in our team. This interactive session allowed us to connect with potential members on a personal level, sharing our passion for biomedical engineering and highlighting the unique opportunities offered by our chapter. We provided interested students with direct links to our recruitment platforms, encouraging them to join our growing community. The primary aim of our participation was to attract new members and expand our chapter’s reach, fostering the next generation of biomedical engineers within the NTUA community.
