A short film competition celebrating IEEE Day’s theme: “Leveraging Technology for a Better 
Tomorrow.” Participants will create short films demonstrating how engineers, students, and tech 
enthusiasts can collaborate to create a positive impact on the world.

 The Local Solution: Document or dramatize how a piece of technology is solving a specific 
problem in your local community. 
 A Day in the Future: Create a fictional narrative showing a day in the life of someone in a 
world improved by compassionate and innovative technology. 
 The Spark of Collaboration: Tell the story of a team coming together to build something that 
helps others, highlighting innovation and teamwork. 
 Tech for Humanity: Create a powerful Public Service Announcement (PSA) explaining how a 
specific technology can address a global challenge.
