Goals of the Event:
The goal of SECUREMIND is to introduce first-year students to the fundamentals of AI agents and cybersecurity, helping them understand how intelligent systems work and why securing digital environments is essential. The workshop aims to build early technical awareness, encourage responsible digital practices, and spark interest in exploring these fields further.
Event Description:
The SECUREMIND workshop, organized by IEEE CS SBC CE Kidangoor, was successfully held on 16 October 2025 at CS LH 2. Designed exclusively for first-year students, the session introduced the core concepts of AI agents and cybersecurity, aligning with the theme “Secure the system. Strengthen the mind.”
The workshop was led by Allen Bobby and Alwin Aji, both fourth-year CSE students and AI Product Engineer Interns at Eallisto. Their technical experience and practical exposure allowed them to deliver clear, real-world insights on how AI agents operate, the growing importance of cybersecurity, and the role students can play in building secure digital systems. Their interactive and beginner-friendly approach helped first-year students easily understand complex concepts.The event saw strong participation, with students actively engaging through questions and discussions, making the session dynamic and collaborative. The speakers also shared valuable guidance on skill-building and career pathways in AI and cybersecurity, which greatly benefited the attendees.SECUREMIND successfully achieved its objective of providing first-year students with foundational awareness, encouraging responsible digital habits, and sparking interest in emerging technologies. Participant feedback highlighted the workshop as informative, well-structured, and highly impactful.
About Guests and Delegates
We were honored to host Allen Bobby and Alwin Aji, fourth-year CSE students and AI Product Interns at Eallisto, who delivered an insightful session on AI agents and cybersecurity. Their presentation covered the fundamentals of intelligent systems, the importance of securing digital environments, and guidance on skill development and career pathways in emerging technologies.
The event witnessed 59 participants, including 20 IEEE members, who actively engaged in the session. Delegates contributed through questions and discussions, making the workshop interactive, informative, and impactful for first-year students.
