Session on “AI and ML”

On October 4, 2023, the IEEE Dibrugarh University Student Branch hosted an engaging seminar on Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine learning (ML) from 4:00-5:00 P.M (IST) at the DUIET ECE DEPARTMENT Building. The event aimed to delve into various AI-related topics, including computer vision, OpenCV, Haarcascade files, and a live demonstration of facial recognition using OpenCV.
One of the highlights of the event was a live demonstration of facial recognition using OpenCV. The participants witnessed the power of AI in real time as the system accurately identified faces.
The event concluded with a lively Questions and Answers round. Attendees had the opportunity to clarify doubts, seek further information, and engage in meaningful discussions with the speakers.
