Build Your Own Sensor led by Hassen Rekik

The IEEE SSCS ENIS Student Branch Chapter recently organized an interactive hands-on session titled “Build Your Own Sensor” , led by Project Manager Hassen Rekik. 

During this workshop, first-year students were introduced to the IR sensor, both theoretically and practically, with a focus on its integration within IC (Integrated Circuit) technology. Hassen guided participants through the electronic logic behind the sensor, offering insights into its working principles and IC-based applications. Students then applied this knowledge by building a simple IR sensor circuit and developing the sensor’s functionality from scratch. This interactive session provided an excellent opportunity for participants to deepen their understanding of sensor and IC technology through practical experience.
