Technovate 2025 – IEEE Day Celebration

The Maharishi School of Engineering and Technology, MUIT Lucknow Campus, in association with the MUIT Tech Sutra Club, MUIT IEEE Student Branch, and IQAC, successfully organized the IEEE Day Celebration 2025 to foster innovation, creativity, and technical excellence among students. The event aimed to bridge theoretical knowledge with practical application, promote collaboration, and strengthen the IEEE community spirit.

Participants: Diploma (CSE), B.Tech (CSE), BCA, and MCA students from MUIT, along with participants from R.R. Institute of Modern Technology and SR Institute of Management and Technology, actively took part in the celebration.

Event Overview: The celebration began with the official inauguration by Dr. Pawan Dixit, Chief Proctor, MUIT, through a symbolic ribbon-cutting ceremony. The event featured a showcase of student innovations with 20 teams presenting their projects. The Project Demonstration (Hardware/Software) segment highlighted sustainable IoT devices and intelligent software solutions, reflecting strong problem-solving abilities and practical implementation skills. The Technical Reel Competition encouraged students to creatively present complex technical concepts through short, engaging videos, combining technical knowledge with communication skills. The Web Development Contest focused on design aesthetics, functionality, and coding precision as teams developed user-friendly and visually appealing websites under time constraints. The Blind Coding Challenge tested participants’ command over programming fundamentals by requiring them to code without viewing their screens, emphasizing logical reasoning and syntax recall. All events were conducted seamlessly with the support of dedicated student volunteers.

Following the competitions, students and faculty gathered in the MUIT Auditorium for the Valedictory Session. Student anchors Ilma and Niglanshu hosted the session, during which Dean MSOET, Dr. Kalyan Acharjya, felicitated the Chief Guest, Dr. Manoj Jain, Assistant Professor, University of Lucknow. The Prize Distribution Ceremony celebrated the winners and runners-up of each event:
