KSSEM Student Branch: IEEE Day 2025 celebrations “Inauguration function”

The Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering in association with the IEEE KSSEM Student Branch proudly inaugurated the IEEE Day 2025 celebrations on 8th October 2025 at the Architecture Seminar Hall, KSSEM. The event commenced at 10:00 AM with an invocation song followed by the ceremonial lighting of the lamp by our distinguished guests: Guest of Honour, Dr. Meena D, Scientist G grade, LRDE, DRDO, Bangalore; the Incharge Principal, Dr. Balaji B. Sir; and Head and Professor of the Department of Electronics and Communication, Dr. K Senthil Babu

The dignitaries addressed the attendees, emphasizing the importance of innovation, collaboration, and community impact in the spirit of IEEE.

Following this, the newly appointed IEEE office bearers for the IEEE Education Society and IEEE Sensors Council were formally badged, marking the start of their leadership roles.

A special highlight was the inauguration of a handmade poster specially prepared by IEEE KSSEM Student Branch members to commemorate IEEE Day 2025.
