Quiz-A-Thon (Day-8 by BEC-IEEE Communication Society)
Introduction
The BEC-IEEE Communication Society (ComSoc) organized the Day 8 quiz of the Quiz-A-Thon 2025 series on 14th October 2025. The Quiz-A-Thon is a 12-day online technical quiz series conducted by different IEEE societies and affinity groups under the BEC-IEEE Student Branch.
Each quiz is designed around the respective society’s domain to promote technical awareness and active engagement among students.
Objectives
- To spread awareness about the Communication Society and its role in advancing communication technology.
- To test participants knowledge of wireless networks, communication systems, and emerging digital technologies.
- To encourage students to explore advancements in areas such as 5G, IoT, and satellite communications.
- To encourage students to participate in quizzes based on specific IEEE society themes.
- To promote learning through competition and interaction.
Brief Description
The ComSoc Quiz was conducted on 14th October 2025 from 7:00 PM to 7:30 PM via the Unstop platform. The quiz featured a set of questions covering topics like communication systems, wireless networks, data transmission, and next-generation connectivity technologies. Participants enthusiastically attempted the quiz, showcasing their understanding of modern communication systems and the innovations shaping global connectivity.
