IEEE Day marks the anniversary of engineers worldwide uniting for the first time in 1884 to share ideas and advance technology for humanity. Celebrated annually, it embraces the theme “Leveraging Technology for a Better Tomorrow” and emphasizes innovation, collaboration, and community engagement. The day is filled with technical, social, and interactive activities, bringing together students, professionals, and enthusiasts from diverse fields of engineering and technology.

Organized by IEEE sections, student branches, and chapters globally, the event features a mix of technical sessions, competitions, and informal activities that foster teamwork and knowledge sharing. The celebration highlights the contributions of IEEE members in leveraging technology to address societal challenges while offering an opportunity for participants to bond and grow through engaging events.

Quiz Competition

The quiz competition is a hallmark of IEEE Day celebrations, designed to test participants’ knowledge across various domains, including engineering, technology, IEEE history, and general knowledge. The event is highly engaging and competitive, structured to include:
