IEEE Day Celebration

The IEEE Student Branch of the College of Engineering Karunagappally , in collaboration with the IEEE Industry Applications Society (IAS), IEEE PES Society, IEEE SIGHT Affinity Group, IEEE PHO/MTTS/SSCS/SPS Joint Chapters, and IEEE Women in Engineering (WIE) Affinity Group, hosted a vibrant IEEE Day celebration on October 1st. The event aimed to honor the global impact of IEEE and its contributions to technological innovation while fostering a sense of community among its members.  

The celebration provided a platform for students and professionals to come together and recognize the pivotal role of IEEE in advancing technology for humanity. The gathering cultivated an atmosphere of engagement and collaboration, offering participants opportunities to reflect on IEEE’s achievements and strengthen their connection to the organization’s mission and values.  

A key highlight of the event was the symbolic cake-cutting ceremony, representing the unity and dedication of the IEEE community. This memorable moment reinforced a shared commitment to the fields of engineering and technology, inspiring attendees to continue their active involvement in IEEE initiatives and to contribute meaningfully to technological progress.
