With his prior experience as telecommunications engineer, he has an unique skillset that has enabled him to provide interdepartmental support for various substation communication and firewall projects. Max's academic career began at Wenatchee Valley College where he was active in the student community with the College Assistance Migrant Program (CAMP) and was the ASB Vice-President before obtaining his science transfer degree in 2014 and entering the electrical engineering program at Gonzaga. During his time at GU Max worked as an Smart Antenna & Radio Lab (SARL) intern, was the GU IEEE Student Branch Vice-President, and cofounded the Robosub student club. He enjoyed working with club members to create events that developed engineering skills and/or provided networking opportunites for their fellow students until his graduation in 2017. Now a devoted husband and doting father, he enjoys boating, camping, and cooking for his family and friends. He also enjoys volunteering to help promote STEM careers & professional development skills for both students and young professionals.
