ANIMATIX

IEEE SB GECKKD conducted Animatix, workshop sessions dealing with the basics of Blender, DaVinci Resolve, Inkscape, and GIMP. It was a one-hour workshop session on the evenings from October 7 to 9, conducted as a part of IEEE Day celebrations. The sessions were taken by Anandhu, an IEEE volunteer of the SB. 25 participants were there, including 15 IEEE members and 10 non-IEEE members.

Sessions on Inkscape and Gimp were taken on the first day, Blender on the second day, and Davinci Resolve on the third day.

Participants dove into the world of 3D modelling, vector graphics, image editing, and video production using powerful and renowned software through these workshop sessions.

The attendees provided positive feedback, highlighting the session’s interactive nature and the practical knowledge gained. The event brought up a collaborative learning environment and triggered the attendee’s interest in further exploration of the topics.
