Electro Explorers: The IEEE Hunt(IEEE Day 2024)

IEEE Day – the first Tuesday of October month commemorates the anniversary of the first-ever meet of the IEEE members who gathered to share their technical ideas way back in 1884.

On this IEEE day, October 1,  2024, the 15th anniversary of this special day, IEEE Student Branch at Chitkara University, Himachal Pradesh under the mentorship of Dr. Sandhya Sharma, IEEE Student Branch Counselor* orchestrated exhilarating celebrations. 

The day was highlighted by a captivating Technical Treasure Hunt titled Electro-Explorers: The IEEE Hunt in which more than 100 students participated. 
Participants in teams embarked on a hunt to find letters and symbols of various technical organizations followed by identifying their founders in second round.

Team of four talented participants emerged as winners and celebrated their victory during a grand prize distribution ceremony followed by a joyous cake cutting and a vibrant party that united senior IEEE faculty members, the student branch execom members, and other student members.

This event epitomized the spirit of innovation and camaraderie, demonstrating IEEE’s commitment to fostering technological advancements and community bonds.
