Fusion Forum
The IEEE Ganpat University Student Branch successfully organized its Annual General Meeting, named “Fusion Forum 2024,” on October 1st at 004 Smart Class in the New Building of UVPCE. The event witnessed a strong turnout of over 80 IEEE GUNI SB members, who actively engaged in the various sessions and discussions.
The Fusion Forum 2024 commenced with a warm welcome address by Ms. Meha Bhatt, the IEEE GUNI SB WIE Webmaster at 1:25 PM. Ms. Bhatt set the tone for the event by highlighting the significance of the Annual General Meeting as a platform for members to connect, share experiences, and contribute to the growth of the student branch.
Following the welcome address, Mr. Tirth Patel, the IEEE GUNI SB Chairperson, took the stage to deliver an insightful session on the achievements and future plans of the student branch at 1:45 PM. Mr. Patel provided a comprehensive overview of the various initiatives undertaken by IEEE GUNI SB throughout the year, including technical events, workshops, and community outreach programs. He also shared the vision for the student branch’s growth and development in the coming year, emphasizing the importance of member engagement and collaboration.
After it Mr. Jaydip Changani, the IEEE GUNI SB Vice Chairperson, followed with a presentation on the valuable resources available to members through IEEE around 2:15 PM. Mr. Changani explained the various online platforms, tools, and publications offered by IEEE, which can be leveraged for professional development, technical learning, and networking. He encouraged members to make use of these resources to enhance their engineering skills and stay updated with the latest advancements in the field.
The Fusion Forum 2024 also featured a session on placement preparation, conducted by Pratham Oza, the IEEE GUNI SB Webmaster. Mr. Oza shared valuable tips and strategies for students to improve their chances of securing placements in top companies. He emphasized the importance of technical skills, soft skills, and effective resume building. Mr. Oza’s session provided students with practical guidance to navigate the competitive job market and achieve their career goals.
Kevin Gohil, the IEEE GUNI SB Secretary, shared his enriching journey as a member of the student branch. Kevin’s experience-sharing session highlighted the opportunities for personal and professional growth that IEEE GUNI SB offers. He emphasized the importance of active participation in student branch activities and encouraged members to take advantage of the networking and leadership opportunities available.
The Fusion Forum 2024 concluded with a dedicated doubt-solving session, where IEEE GUNI SB members had the opportunity to ask questions and seek clarification on any queries related to IEEE membership, resources, or career guidance. This interactive session fostered open communication and provided valuable insights to the attendees.
The event concluded at 3:40 PM with a heartfelt vote of thanks, acknowledging the contributions of all the speakers, participants, and organizers. The Fusion Forum 2024 was a resounding success, providing a valuable platform for IEEE GUNI SB members to connect, learn, and grow together.
