IEEE Day 2024 celebration and talk session

The IEEE Student Branch of IIIT Dharwad proudly celebrated IEEE Day 2024 with two exciting and interactive events aimed at enhancing student engagement:

 

 

  1. Talk Session on IEEE and Membership Drive:
    The event began with an inspiring talk session by Abhijay Gopal, on on topic  “Engage, Inspire, Lead: The Role of IEEE in
    Developing Tomorrow’s Leaders”, bringing together students and IEEE members to discuss the significance of IEEE Day. Our Branch Counselor led a discussion on the value of IEEE membership, highlighting how it opens doors to global networking, professional development, and access to cutting-edge resources. The session emphasized the upcoming IEEE Membership Drive, encouraging students to become active members of the IEEE community.

  2. Interactive Presentation on IEEE Day History:
    A detailed presentation on the history and global importance of IEEE Day was delivered, focusing on how the day celebrates the achievements and innovations of IEEE members worldwide. The presentation aimed to inspire students to understand the broader impact of IEEE and how their contributions can make a difference in the technological world.

  3. Networking and Collaborative Discussions:
    To wrap up the session, students had the chance to network, share ideas, and discuss how IEEE has positively influenced their academic and professional journeys. This interactive time fostered a sense of community and collaboration, reinforcing the theme of innovation and global connectivity that IEEE Day stands for.
