IEEE Day 2025

The Department of Computer Engineering, UET Lahore, celebrated IEEE Day 2025 under the banner of the IEEE ComSoc Student Chapter. The event brought together faculty members, IEEE student members, and non-member students to commemorate the global spirit of IEEE Day — celebrating the collaboration of engineers and technologists for a better tomorrow.

The celebration began with a welcome address highlighting the objectives and achievements of IEEE at UET Lahore. Faculty coordinators shared insights about IEEE’s global vision and encouraged students to actively participate in upcoming IEEE activities and competitions. A special emphasis was placed on the importance of professional networking, research, and technical skill development through IEEE platforms.

A cake-cutting ceremony was held to mark the celebration, symbolizing unity and enthusiasm among students and faculty. This was followed by announcements regarding upcoming IEEE ComSoc projects and initiatives planned for the academic year 2025–26.

The event provided a wonderful opportunity for students to interact with peers and mentors, fostering a stronger sense of community and motivation to contribute to IEEE’s mission.
