IEEE DAY 2025 – Artificial intelligence using Raspberry Pi Workshop

As part of the IEEE Day 2025 celebrations, the IEEE Student Branch of Jain College of Engineering, Belagavi organized an engaging Workshop on “Artificial Intelligence using Raspberry Pi.”

The session was conducted by Dr. Prashant Dhope, Asst. Professor of ECE, VTU Belagavi , who introduced participants to the world of Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning. The workshop focused on understanding how AI models are trained, tested, and deployed, along with practical demonstrations of image processing and camera-based object detection.

Participants explored how AI systems can analyze and interpret visual data and got hands-on experience with real-time AI applications. Although Raspberry Pi was briefly introduced as a hardware platform for AI deployment, the emphasis was primarily on understanding the working of AI models and computer vision tasks.
