IEEE Day 2025 – Introduction to Hackathon and Idea Pitching

As part of IEEE Week 2025, the IEEE Student Branch of P.A. College of Engineering organized a workshop titled “Introduction to Hackathon and Idea Pitching” on 6th October 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Seminar Hall.

The session was conducted by Rihan and Swati, final-year CSE students with extensive hackathon experience. They introduced participants to the fundamentals of hackathons, including identifying real-world problems, forming teams effectively, developing innovative solutions, and delivering compelling idea pitches.

A total of 58 participants attended the session. The workshop was interactive and hands-on, motivating students to participate in hackathons and innovation-driven competitions. The speakers shared practical insights, strategies for ideation, and tips for presenting ideas with clarity and confidence.

The event successfully promoted creativity, critical thinking, problem-solving, and an innovation mindset among the participants.
