IEEE India Council WIE, in association with IEEE SPS Hyderabad Section & IEEE VNRVJIET Student Branch, is organizing a thought-provoking session on:

“Breaking the Silence: Awareness on Cancer and Role of Signal Processing in Cancer”

👨‍⚕️ Distinguished Speakers:

🔹 Dr. Mallik Singaraju

  • Senior Oncologist with 18 years of experience, currently associated with Continental Hospital.

  • Founder of Singaraju Cancer Foundation, working towards awareness and early detection of breast, cervical, and oral cancers.

  • Conducted several cancer screening camps in rural Telangana and low-income groups in Hyderabad.

  • Enrolled in the Guinness Book of World Records for participating in the largest breast cancer screening camp.

  • Honored with awards such as Vaidya Ratna, Star Gold, and Business Mint Awards.

  • Featured in Humans of Hyderabad for outstanding contributions to society.

🔹 Dr. Pradeep Kumar

  • Assistant Professor, Department of ECE, VNRVJIET.

  • Received B.Tech. (2012, GBTU Lucknow), M.Tech. in Advanced Communication Systems (2016, NIT Warangal), and Ph.D. in ECE (2022, NIT Patna).

  • Published 25 research papers in international journals/conferences and 2 book chapters.

  • Holds two Indian patents in the field of electronics and communication.
