IEEE Day Celebration ISET Bizerte x ESSTHS x SESAME x EPT : 2nd session- Research 101

As part of our IEEE Day 2025 celebrations, we hosted our second virtual session, organized by IEEE ESSTHS SB, SESAME SB, EPT SB, and ISET Bizerte SB, introduced participants to the core principles of scientific inquiry and research writing. This engaging and informative session was delivered by Mohamed Amine Ben Helal, an emerging researcher and dedicated IEEE volunteer. Currently pursuing a PhD in Electrical Engineering and also serves as Vice Chair of the IEEE VTS Tunisia Section Chapter and Treasurer of the IEEE RAS Tunisia Section Chapter for the 2025–2026 term.

Throughout the session, participants explored the fundamentals of scientific research, including research methodologies, the scientific process, and critical thinking skills. Mohamed Amine guided them through the steps of identifying research problems, formulating hypotheses, and evaluating credible sources, while also sharing practical insights into structuring and writing effective research papers.

Drawing from his academic experience and involvement in scholarly publishing, he provided hands-on advice and best practices for producing high-quality, well-organized research work. The session emphasized clarity, logic, and ethics in academic writing, helping participants understand how to communicate their findings effectively.

By the end of the workshop, attendees had gained a solid foundation in research methodology and academic writing, empowering them to begin their own research journeys with confidence and credibility.
