IEEE DAY PES QUIZ COMPETITION

The IEEE PES SBC CEA organized a quiz in collaboration with the IEEE PES KERALA

CHAPTER on 15th October 2024, as part of the IEEE Day Celebrations. The event focused on

power and energy, targeting first-year students to introduce them to fundamental concepts in the

field. Its goal was to raise awareness and build foundational knowledge in this critical area.

With 194 participants, the event was held in the students’ respective classrooms to ensure

convenience and maximize involvement. The quiz not only served as an engaging educational

tool but also sparked curiosity, encouraging students to explore power and energy-related topics

further. Additionally, the event aimed to instill a sense of responsibility in students to explore

career opportunities within the power and energy industry, contributing to technological

advancements and shaping a future where clean, reliable energy is accessible to all.
