IEEE DAY QUIZATHON EVENT
The IEEE Day Quizathon was organized by the SKNISB Team at the IT seminar hall, Ground floor. The IEEE Day Quizathon aimed to create an interactive platform where participants could test their knowledge across a variety of fields, including fun trivia, historical insights, and technical expertise, while also promoting IEEE’s values. The event saw active participation from 30 attendees, including faculty, SKNISB members, and the outgoing and incoming committee members.
The ceremony began with a warm welcome and introduction, followed by the felicitation of the Prof. Punam Raskar Mam and Prof. Poonam Railkar Mam by both faculty coordinators.
The quiz itself comprised three engaging rounds designed to test participants’ knowledge and encourage teamwork:
1. Fun Round: This initial round featured light-hearted questions aimed at warming up the participants and creating an enjoyable atmosphere.
2. History Round: The second round focused on the history of technology and the IEEE organization, challenging participants to recall significant milestones and developments.
3. Technical Round: The final round was a technical quiz that posed more challenging questions related to engineering and technology, pushing the participants’ knowledge to its limits.
Upon completion of the quiz rounds, prizes were awarded to the top two teams, acknowledging their outstanding performance and knowledge throughout the competition. The event concluded on a positive note, with participants expressing enthusiasm and appreciation for the engaging format and the opportunity to learn.
Overall, the IEEE Day Quizathon successfully achieved its objective of promoting knowledge and collaboration among IEEE members and participants. The enthusiasm displayed during the event sets a promising foundation for future initiatives aimed at fostering innovation and community engagement.
