IEEE DAY’25 – SolveForHer Hackathon

As part of the IEEE Day 2025 celebrations, the IEEE MAIT WIE (Women in Engineering) Affinity Group successfully organized “SolveForHer,” a 3-hour, women-centric hackathon.

This fast-paced event challenged participants to develop innovative projects focused on pressing real-world issues. The hackathon was structured around three critical tracks:

• Women Safety

• Mental Health

• Climate Change

Participants demonstrated exceptional creativity and technical skill, building solutions aimed at addressing these specific challenges within the tight 3-hour timeframe. The event underscored IEEE MAIT’s commitment to promoting women in technology and fostering innovation for social good.
