IEEE XTREME 19.0

Goals of the Event:

The goal of the IEEE XTREME 19.0 Google Meet session held on 6th October 2025 was to create awareness about the competition, explain its format and rules, encourage student participation, and guide students on effective preparation strategies for the contest.

Event Description:

An online awareness and orientation session on IEEE XTREME 19.0 was conducted through Google Meet on 6th October 2025. The session was organized to introduce students to IEEE XTREME, a globally recognized 24-hour competitive programming challenge conducted by IEEE. The event focused on explaining the contest format, eligibility criteria, team structure, rules, and registration process in detail.

During the session, participants were guided on effective preparation strategies, including practice resources and problem-solving approaches. The importance of teamwork, time management, and coding efficiency was highlighted. An interactive question-and-answer segment was included to clarify participant doubts and motivate students to actively take part in the competition.

Participation:

We were honored to host Jeno Jiji, Backend Engineer at Techgentsia, who delivered an insightful awareness and orientation session on IEEE XTREME 19.0. The session covered the competition format, eligibility criteria, team structure, registration process, and effective preparation strategies, including problem-solving approaches, teamwork, and time management.

The event witnessed 100 participants, including 20 IEEE members, who actively engaged in the session. Delegates enriched the program through interactive discussions and a Q&A segment, making the session informative, motivating, and impactful for aspiring competitive programmers.
