Introduction to ESP-32

As part of IEEE Week, IEEE CASS SBC NITC, in collaboration with Team RiG and IEEE SB GEC Kozhikode, organized a hands-on ESP-32 Introductory Workshop on the 11th of October, 2024. The workshop took place from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM at NLHC-301, NITC, and offered participants an immersive learning experience with the ESP-32 microcontroller, a powerful tool for IoT and embedded systems projects.

The workshop provided expert guidance on the setup and practical applications of ESP-32, helping attendees build a strong foundation or enhance their existing skills in microcontroller programming and project development. The session was designed to cater to a diverse audience, from beginners to those looking to advance their technical expertise. Participants were introduced to key concepts and techniques necessary for developing projects using ESP-32, along with hands-on exercises to solidify their understanding.

Registration for the workshop was priced at ₹99 for IEEE members and ₹249 for non-members. Additionally, an optional ESP-32 and workshop kit was available for ₹500, which could be shared among groups of three or more, making it accessible and collaborative for all participants.

The event was a valuable learning opportunity for anyone interested in embedded systems and microcontroller programming, and it contributed to strengthening technical knowledge within the community.
