Introduction to the IAS & IES Chapters Session

In celebration of IEEE Day, IEEE IAS/IES/PES ESPRIT SBJC organized an online session led by Ala Chalghaf, who presented an insightful discussion on the benefits of being an IEEE IAS and IES member. The event started with a warm welcome from the joint chapter’s chair, Selim Landolsi, followed by an introduction to Ala Chalghaf’s remarkable background. Then, he provided a clear overview of IEEE, highlighting its international network, technical excellence, teamwork, and various competitions.

The session after that focused on the IAS and IES chapters, explaining their key technologies, publications, conferences, and student opportunities. Ala Chalghaf concluded by sharing his own experiences and the advantages of being part of IEEE. The session was highly interactive, with the participation of the attendees.
