On 4th October 2024, as part of the IEEE Day celebrations, IEEE RSCOE Student Branch (SB), in collaboration with IEEE Pune Section, successfully hosted Kshitij Talks at the Jawant Auditorium, RSCOE. The event featured an insightful session on “Digital India,” delivered by our esteemed guest, Dinanath Kholkar Sir. We were also honored by the presence of Vibhav Dalvi, SSR of IEEE Pune Section, along with the HoDs of the Electrical and E&TC Departments and the Faculty Coordinators of IEEE RSCOE SB and IEEE PES.

The event was skillfully anchored by Raksha Shrimannawar and Anushree Lavand, who ensured smooth proceedings. The event began with the traditional felicitation ceremony, where our guest, Dinanath Kholkar Sir, and SSR, Vibhav Dalvi, were warmly welcomed and presented with a bouquet and a plant as tokens of appreciation. Following this, the much-anticipated guest session began.

During his talk on Digital India, Kholkar Sir shared valuable insights into India’s digital transformation and its impact on various sectors, from governance to the economy. His presentation provided a clear understanding of the opportunities and challenges in building a digitally empowered nation.

After the session, a highly engaging Q&A discussion took place. The audience actively participated, posing thoughtful questions related to the implementation of digital initiatives, the future of technology in India, and the role of young engineers in shaping this future. Kholkar Sir responded with inspiring and practical advice, making the discussion both informative and interactive.

The event concluded with a heartfelt vote of thanks delivered by Ugsakshi Gaikwad, expressing gratitude to our guest, the SSR, the participants, and all contributors to making Kshitij Talks a memorable success.
