KSSEM Student Branch: IEEE Day 2025 Celebrations: Melody Match-Faculty Favourite event

Event Description

The Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering, KSSEM, in association with the IEEE KSSEM Student Branch, organized the “Melody Match” event on 10th October 2025 as part of the IEEE Day celebrations. The event was exclusively for faculty members from all departments to promote camaraderie, recreation, and engagement.

The event was graced by the presence of Dr. Renuka V Tali, IEEE Student Branch counsellor for KSSEM. The competition consisted of six engaging rounds designed to test musical knowledge, creativity, and teamwork. These included traditional musical games such as Antakshari, identifying songs from translated lyrics, picture-based song identification, background music guessing, play-pause-continue challenges, and theme-based song singing.

The lively and interactive format created an enjoyable environment that fostered inter-departmental bonding and friendly competition. Several faculty teams participated enthusiastically, showcasing strong musical knowledge and team spirit. Certificates of achievement were awarded to the top performing teams.

Overall, the “Melody Match” event was a grand success, combining fun, musical appreciation, and team building, perfectly embodying the spirit of IEEE Day 2025 at KSSEM.
