PES QUIZ – IEEE DAY 2025

The IEEE Student Branch of Mohandas College of Engineering and Technology, in association with IEEE PES Kerala Chapter, successfully conducted the IEEE Day PES Quiz 2025 on 7th October 2025. The event was part of the statewide IEEE Day celebrations, bringing together young minds from various engineering institutions to test their knowledge, teamwork, and enthusiasm for technology.

The quiz was conducted in an engaging offline format within the college campus. The atmosphere was vibrant, filled with curiosity and friendly competition as participants took part in multiple rounds covering diverse topics such as power and energy systems, electrical fundamentals, and general IEEE knowledge.

The event began with a brief introduction about IEEE Day and the importance of knowledge-sharing within the PES community. Students from different departments participated enthusiastically, showcasing their intellect and teamwork throughout the rounds. The coordination team ensured a smooth and fair competition, and the participants appreciated the interactive nature of the quiz.

This event not only tested technical understanding but also inspired students to engage more deeply with IEEE’s mission of advancing technology for humanity. The session concluded with the announcement of winners and a group photo session celebrating the success of the day.
