INTRODUCTION:IEEE PES SBC SCTCE organized Power Down: The Energy Escape Room, an intellectually engaging event designed to raise awareness about energy and sustainability. Combining knowledge with excitement, the event provided participants an opportunity to showcase their problem-solving skills while learning about critical energy concepts.DESCRIPTION:The event featured 23 teams competing in three exciting rounds:Energy Quiz: A test of participants’ knowledge on energy concepts.Logo Identification: A creative round focused on recognizing energy-related logos.Riddle Solving: An interactive segment requiring critical and out-of-the-box thinking.Over two days, the event saw active participation and enthusiasm. Vice Chair Tariq Nazeer delivered the opening remarks, highlighting the importance of sustainable energy practices. Teams showcased their skills, making the competition intense and lively. Winners were recognized with prizes, celebrating their outstanding performance.On the second day, the event concluded with a Membership Development Session led by Vice Chair Tariq Nazeer and Secretary FisaFathima Feroze, aimed at encouraging participants to join IEEE and explore its benefits.
