The event aims to immerse participants in the fascinating world of cryptography,
challenging them to solve codes and decipher clues to advance to the next location. In
today’s tech-driven era, where ciphers play a crucial role, this hands-on experience offers
a distinctive platform to explore the complexities of codes. The activity not only
encourages participants to delve deeper into cryptographic concepts but also fosters
teamwork and sharpens analytical thinking, making it an engaging and educational
experience.
Event Description:
Zerone 5.0, held on October 05th, 2024, featured an exclusive treasure hunt competition
tailored specifically for first-year students, designed to enhance their familiarity with the
campus. Each team received a clue that, when deciphered, revealed a location within the
college. At this location, a QR code was hidden, and scanning it provided the next clue.
This interactive process led participants on an engaging journey through various campus
spots, offering valuable insights into the campus layout.
Beyond enhancing problem-solving skills, the event played a pivotal role in fostering social
interaction among participants. The collaborative nature of the treasure hunt not only
encouraged teamwork but also created an atmosphere of camaraderie among the first-
year students. This event proved to be a resounding success, achieving its primary goal of
