A Guest Lecture on “Opportunities and Challenges in Industry”
The Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering in association with IEEE BSACIST Student Branch organized a guest lecture titled “Opportunities and Challenges in Industry “on 01.10.2024 from 10.00 AM to 12.15 PM at Seminar hall 1, Convention Centre. The event aimed to enrich the students about the Industries today face a landscape of significant opportunities and challenges. On the opportunity side, rapid technological advancements in areas like AI, automation, and big data are creating new possibilities for innovation and efficiency. Sustainability is also a major driver, with increasing demand for green technology, renewable energy, and eco-friendly practices pushing industries to adopt more sustainable business models. The global market has become more accessible, allowing companies, especially small and medium enterprises, to reach wider audiences through digital platforms.

Dr. R. Jayashree, the proficient Professor and Head of the Department of EEE, delivered a warm and insightful welcome address, setting the tone for the informative session. The guest lecture’s eminent resource person, G. M. Vishnuraam, CEO – Current and Voltage Technologies, shared her knowledge to the 2nd, 3rd and final year EEE students with the Upskilling and reskilling opportunities for employees with digital transformation.
