GAME JAM

From October 29th to October 1st, the IEEE Student Branch at RSET , in collaboration with IEEE Day, organized an online game development competition on the platform Itch. The event, based on the theme *”The Puzzle That Plays You,”* challenged participants to create innovative puzzle games that not only engaged the players but also offered unique gameplay twists. The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from 23 groups, comprised mostly of first-year Computer Science students from the Delta batch. Over the course of the 48-hour development window, teams brainstormed, designed, and developed their games, showcasing their creativity and technical skills.

Following the development phase, the voting period took place from October 1st to October 2nd, allowing anyone to join in and rate the games. The winners of the event were announced based on these ratings, with first place awarded to Muhammed Jaasim and Joseph Chacko from S1 CSE Delta, second place to Tejassh Sathyadeepan, and third place to Nikhil Joseph and Joji Geegy, all from the same batch. The event highlighted the collaborative spirit and creative potential of the participants, making it a great success.
