IEEE Day Event Report

• Event 1: Quiz

On October 4, the IEEE Day festivities commenced with the “Powering the Future: EV Trivia” quiz competition, an electrifying event conducted by *IEEE PES SBC TKMCE* in collaboration with *IEEE WiE AG TKMCE*. Participants engaged in a challenging quiz that tested their knowledge of electric vehicles and their role in shaping a better tomorrow.

• Event 2: IEEE Day Celebration

On October 3rd, IEEE Day was celebrated from 4:30 to 6:30 pm at Squash Court . The event kicked off with a festive cake-cutting ceremony, marking the beginning of IEEE Day. Attendees immersed themselves in various engaging activities that fostered a sense of community and shared enthusiasm. Among these activities, there was the delightful act of releasing balloons together, symbolizing unity and celebration.

• Event 3: Talk Session

Scheduled for October 11 from 4:30 to 6:30 pm at the APJ Hall, the talk session on “AI for a Better Tomorrow” promises to be a thought-provoking discussion on the ethical considerations surrounding Artificial Intelligence. Prof. Sumod Sundar ,Asst Professor – Centre for Artificial Intelligence, TKMCE, a prominent expert in the field, will delve into various aspects of AI, including Machine Learning, Deep Learning, AI applications, Generative AI, and AI’s pivotal role in shaping the future. This event is set to inspire and inform attendees about the potential and ethical dimensions of AI in our quest for a brighter future.
