IEEE Day 2023 Preparations
Preparing for two weeks of celebrating IEEE Day 2023, the IEEE ENICarthage Student Branch embarked on a journey of extensive preparations to ensure a memorable and enlightening celebration. The festivities will start with the setup of two engaging booths on October 3rd and 4th, where the IEEE community gathered to showcase our dedication to technology, innovation, and knowledge sharing.
Our commitment to technical prowess lead us to plan a captivating web development session in collaboration with our Computer Science Chapter on October 4th. This session will serve as a platform for participants to explore the evolving world of web technologies.
We set a significant milestone by pursuing ISO 9001 certification, underscoring our commitment to quality and excellence in all our endeavors. The Quality Certification Training session, will be organized in partnership with our Industry Applications Society Chapter, on October 7th, emphasizing our dedication to the highest industry standards.
Simultaneously, on the same day, our Robotics and Automation Society Chapter are planning for a captivating maze workshop, inviting participants to explore the realms of robotics and automation, and to engage in a hands-on learning experience by building their first robot.
The grand culmination of our IEEE Day preparations will take place on October 8th in Bezina, Benzart, as we joined forces with 8 other Student Branches for an unforgettable IEEE Tunisia Picnic Day.
October 11th will mark the highly anticipated IEEE Day Escape Room, which will immerse participants in a challenging yet thrilling world of puzzles, that will be centered around IEEE, technology, and smart cities, emphasizing the role of innovation in shaping our future.
Continuing the celebration on October 11th, our Women in Engineering (WIE) Affinity Group plan for a valuable First Aid Training Session, imparting life-saving skills to participants. It’s a testament to our commitment to community well-being.
To conclude the IEEE Day 2023 celebrations on a high note, we will host an assembly on October 14th. During this event, participants will have the privilege of delving into the vast array of IEEE Membership benefits, guided by the insights of Mr. Khaldoun Taktak. The excitement will continue with a thrilling Hackathon focused on Smart Cities, underlining the pivotal role of technology in urban development and the day will culminate with an exciting Trivia Show, featuring 50 questions that further explore the themes of smart cities, showcasing our dedication to knowledge and innovation.
In essence, our two-week IEEE Day 2023 celebration planning is a testimony of our Student Branch’s unwavering commitment to knowledge dissemination, technological advancement, and fostering a vibrant, inclusive ecosystem for aspiring engineers and technologists.
