IEEE Day at IIT 2024

On October 5th, 2024, the IEEE Student Branch of IIT celebrated the 15th edition of IEEE Day. The theme for this year’s celebration was “Leveraging Technology for a Better Tomorrow”, reflecting the role of technology in driving a brighter and more sustainable future.

The event kicked off with opening remarks, setting the tone for an exciting day filled with learning, networking, and collaboration. Esteemed speakers like Mr. Vidura Bandara and Mr. Sampath Thrimavithana shared their expertise on leadership, innovation, and career achievements, inspiring participants with their insightful sessions. Engaging activities allowed attendees to connect and explore the opportunities IEEE offers. Participants also got chances to win free IEEE Global memberships.
