IEEE DAY Celebration 2023

On October 7, 2023, IEEE members of University of Vavuniya and enthusiasts came together to celebrate IEEE Day at our venue. IEEE Day is an annual event that commemorates the first time in history when engineers worldwide and IEEE members gathered to share their technical ideas in 1884. This year’s event was especially momentous as it featured Randul Malinhara, a remarkable software engineer undergraduate from IIT, as our keynote speaker.
