IEEE Day celebration

On the first Tuesday of October, the IEEE Student Branch at ABV-IIITM Gwalior celebrated IEEE Day 2024 with great enthusiasm and energy. The primary aim of this event was to introduce the new batch to the workings of IEEE, including its rules, benefits, and the vast opportunities it provides. The event served as an informative platform to guide the new members into the world of IEEE, helping them understand the importance of being part of this prestigious global organization.

The event was graced by Pinku Ranjan Sir and Somesh Sir, our esteemed guests of honour for the day. Their presence added immense value, as they shared their insights and experiences, motivating the students to make the most of the resources and opportunities that IEEE offers.

One of the day’s key highlights was the appointment of the new treasurer for the IEEE Student Branch. This was a significant moment, as the newly appointed treasurer will play a pivotal role in managing and driving the financial aspects of the branch.

A cake-cutting ceremony was held to mark the celebration, symbolizing unity and the fresh start of another year of IEEE activities at ABV-IIITM. The event was further enriched with various competitions, designed to engage and inspire the participants.

Among the competitions, the most notable one was for creating an anthem for the ABV-IIITM IEEE Student Branch. This competition was of great importance, as it aimed to establish a musical identity for the branch, one that would resonate with its values and vision.

The event was a resounding success, blending information with celebration, and laying a strong foundation for the new batch to actively engage with IEEE and its mission.
