IEEE Day Poster Presentation

The Poster Presentation event under IEEE day celebration, held on 1st October 2024,
centered around the theme “Leveraging Technology for a Better Tomorrow.” This
event, organized by the IEEE Student Chapter of MKSSS’s Cummins College of
Engineering Pune, provided a platform for participants to showcase their innovative
ideas and research projects addressing contemporary challenges and envisioning a
sustainable future. A total of 44 teams took part in this online competition, representing
various colleges, including B K Birla Institute of Engineering & Technology, JSPM,
Bharati Vidyapeeth, Symbiosis Centre for Information Technology (SCIT Pune),
PCCOE, MMCOE, PVGCOET, Cummins College, PICT, and JSCOE Hadapsar Pune.
The judging process was conducted by 4 panels of experts, each consisting of 2
judges.
Judging criteria included Innovation, Feasibility, Impact, Organization, and
Presentation. The event was guided by Counselor Dr. Mrudul Dixit Ma’am and
Chairperson Shreeni Kalyanshetti (IEEE DAY Ambassador 24). Overall, the event
successfully emphasized the importance of innovative thinking and the role of
technology in shaping a better tomorrow, providing participants with valuable feedback
on their projects. The winners of the event were: MMCOE (Team SURAKSHA) – Sarthak
Kothari and Mithilesh Pathade, Cummins College (Team Tech_Titans) – Madhavi
Wakharde and Ishita Rane, PICT (Team Wozniaks) – Shreyas Shirwadkar, and the
runner-up was PCCOE (Team Shield) – Ritik Lipate
