Keeping that in mind, on the occasion of the celebration of IEEE Day 2023, IEEE NSU IAS Student Branch Chapter has arranged a visit to the power substation of North South University. It will be held on 11th October, 2023.
Our instructor for the visit will be Dr. ASM Jahid Hasan, an esteemed Assistant Professor in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at North South University. Dr. Hasan brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to this endeavor, having earned his PhD from the prestigious University of California, Riverside. His expertise and guidance will undoubtedly enrich the educational experience of our participants during the visit.
The major objective of this visit is to give the enthusiasts a view on how the power system works and about its structure including how to ensure safety in power stations. It will be greatly beneficial to the students who are interested in energy generation and power generation sector.
