Poster Making Competition
The Poster Making Competition, collaboratively organized by IEEE Consumer Technology Society (CTSoc) and IEEE Computational Intelligence Society (CIS), was held on October 8th, 2024, as part of the IEEE Day celebrations. The competition aimed to provide students with a platform to showcase their creativity, focusing on the theme of IEEE Day colors. The event was graced by distinguished guests: Puneet Sir, Ruchika Ma’am, Sugandha Ma’am, along with Gurmeet Ma’am and Harigobind Pathak Sir, adding prestige and encouragement to the participants.
The competition kicked off at 9:30 AM with the enthusiastic participation of students. Each participant, either working individually or in teams of two, was tasked with creating posters that incorporated any of the colors from the IEEE Day poster, blending artistry with the IEEE theme. The contestants came equipped with their own materials—chart papers, sketch pens, markers, and other essentials, as required.
Before the competition began, participants were briefed about the rules, and the importance of blending creativity with meaningful expression. The organizers emphasized how the event was a creative extension of IEEE Day’s vision, encouraging participants to incorporate values like innovation, diversity, and collaboration in their designs.
